i am standing on the bridge jumping into the river, looking at the sky my feet are frozen in the moment where the old me says goodbye the city’s holding its breath, lights trembling below and all my fears are whispering things I already know the water’s not the end, it’s just a mirror in disguise showing me the parts of me I’ve tried so hard to hide every star above me feels closer than before like gravity is loosening its grip on my core i don’t wanna disappear, i just wanna feel alive trade the weight of yesterday for something real tonight if i fall, let it be forward, not down let the current teach me how to turn around hands shaking, heart loud like a siren in my chest i’ve been surviving so long, forgot how to rest maybe the bridge was never meant to break me in two maybe it’s just the place where i finally choose to breathe to stay to let the dark wash past and float away
